EU and Thailand hold tenth round of trade negotiations
The European Commission has published a report on the October 2026 round. The agreement is still being negotiated.
The European Commission lists October 2026 as the tenth negotiating round, following the decision in 2023 to resume talks. The EU’s stated aims include greater market access, investment and sustainable development.
For businesses trading between Thailand and Finland, the round reports are a way to track negotiations. Draft proposals describe matters still being negotiated. They do not establish a new duty rate or import requirement.
